Hairwave respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
We only collect the minimum data needed to operate the app, manage your account, and provide subscription access.
Hairwave is a hard-paywall application, meaning full access requires an active subscription. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Data we collect
We may collect:
- Email address (account creation)
- Authentication data (Supabase login)
- Usage data (app interactions, routine tracking, progress)
- Subscription status (via Superwall and Apple/Google billing)
2. How we use data
We use your data to:
- Create and secure your account
- Track your hair routine progress
- Deliver a personalized app experience
- Manage subscription access and paywall functionality
- Improve app performance and stability
3. Account & Authentication
We use Supabase for authentication and account management.
Your login data (email, password, or Apple/Google sign-in) is securely encrypted and never shared with third parties beyond required service providers.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Hairwave uses Superwall and Apple App Store / Google Play billing systems.
We do not store payment details such as credit card information.
Only subscription status (active, expired, trial) is shared with us to control app access.
5. Analytics & app performance
We may collect anonymized analytics data to understand app usage, improve performance, and fix crashes.
This data does not directly identify you.
6. Third-party services
We use trusted providers including:
- Supabase (authentication & database)
- Superwall (paywall & subscription management)
- Apple / Google (payments & login)
- Expo (app framework services)

Your data is stored securely using encrypted cloud infrastructure.
We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or misuse.
